I ran across your site while looking for info on tying an icicle knot(variation).
You have a great site !! I will visit it again real soon.
You might be interested; I am following a couple in Chicago (blog) that is taking off for a 'world'cruise later this month. Quite their jobs, bought an older boat and updated it. Hope they make it, or at least get started !!!!!

Hi guys,
Just stumbled across your site when I was searching whipping twine. You have a lot of great information on your pages. I really enjoyed reading about your adventures. I am in sunny, and hot, St Petersburg, Florida. It is pretty calm this time of year so we do not get to take the boat out as much as we like. The winds will be back in the fall and we will do some cruising. Stay safe out there and fair winds.

Jeff

Thanks so much for your comment on my blog. Your videos and website are inspirational for jewelry artisans. I'm off to check out some new knots (to me) here!

Hello from rainy Atlantic Canada Found your website through knot tying search.
Thank you so much!
Small world sort of. Have lived in Toronto most of my life, have cockatoos as well... have spent a summer at Port Credit (pre-cockatoo days) & am a long time member at Mytoos!
I couldn't agree more with you regarding cockatoos & captivity! I have both a Goffin & a Mollucan...
Yep life is loud!

Hello!

I learned of your website from the Practical Sailor article on knots. I seem to be one of the first, but know that I won't be the last... I've added your knots page as a bookmark.

I read your holding tank rebuild article with great interest, and enjoyed reading about your background, and that of Charlie Bird.

As the governor of California once said; "I'll be back!"

Hey guys, Your website caught my eye by the "do it yourself sailor". I think this is most of us, no help when you're out at sea. I sent it on to a few of my ship mates on the dock. I own and charter my boat (Ericson 34) out of Dana Point California. I will be enjoying your site and looking for new stuff.
Thanks,
Captain Dave

Dave, the most intuitive knot reference pages I have come across(YoutTube). Does not get any easier than this site. The video tutorials are right on, you could not make them any simpler to follow.

As far as sailing, well that is for another life.

Thank for your time and effort.
- Marty

Admin reply: Hi Marty,

Thanks so much for your comments! It's great to have an outlet to do something which you love to do.

Dave
